That was nothing! A real Winter Wallop!

We are getting a fast initiation into what Mother Nature can whiz up here in North Texas. We thought the ice and snow from earlier this week were impressive. Well that was nothing compared to this bonafied winter wallop! I know that many Northerners and Midwesterners are chuckling, but we are so not used to this! Almost an entire week without school! At least today, with a fresh dusting of 6 inches of snow, we were able to get out without fear of slipping and falling on our keesters. ;) I just had to share pictures of our Dallas Winter Wonderland!

Snowboarding down the driveway.

Our neighborhood transformed into a winter wonderland; just beautiful!

What snow day would be complete without snow angels, snow balls, and snowmen!

"Don't Mess with Texas" sun or snow! :)

Tisha,
I found your blog because I've been researching the brain highway program and your blog popped up. I am an Interactive Metronome provider. I find IM seems to have very similar results as the brain highway program claims, except much faster it sounds like. If you've not heard of IM, you might check it out. Do search for a provider that knows how to work well with children though- it's an intense program and you have to make it fun. Because it's intense, you can see gains very quickly. My son, challenged with undiagnosed Aspergers, is now very typical if not exceptional thanks to this program. He was always exceptional, it was the typical that was hard for him :). You can read more on my blog. Just thought I'd share a good resource. www.trainthebraintofocus.net.
