And the winner is . . . Diana! Congrats Diana and thanks for playing along. I love these books by M. Sasek, most of which were written in the 1960's. There are 17 other titles in this series, including "This is London" and "This is Hong Kong." I hope you enjoy, Diana. Apparently, I am not going to be hired as a riddle writer anytime soon. Good guessing!!!!
Sorry for the delay on this post. It was an exhausting, overwhelming week. But. We. Are. Here. I still don't have my computer set up; that is scheduled for tomorrow. I have to beg, borrow and steal Chad's laptop for a few minutes here and there. Thanks Mary McG in TN for your concern. We made it, BARELY, but made it nonetheless. The new blog design is almost done and I will share with you all of our moving adventures. Until then greetings from the City by the Bay; our new home, San Francisco!

Congrats on the big move! Hope y'all settle in quickly and relatively easily. I know how hard it can be...
Glad you're all moved and settling in. I just love San Francisco! So much to do and see and eat! Looking forward to the big reveal of your new blog!
Tisha- I haven't been keeping up with blogs like I used to and I just went back and read all of your more recent posts. WOW! You have been through a lot and what an adventure you have that lies ahead of you. So glad to hear that things are going well and that you are getting settled in. The Lord is so good and He will show His faithfulness as we are obedient. After reading your posts about Sloan I am reminded about our time that we "moved" to San Luis Obispo for a few months to get Austin help with learning. He has a lot of the same issues and we have spent many years trying to help him. I would love to hear updates on how the new school is going up there in San Fran.
When you guys get settled in you should go to the Exploratorium- it is AWESOME! :-)
I've loved following along with you through your China adoption (we too are waiting.....waiting.....well you get the idea) to complete our adoption. Seeing your beautiful family has definately been an inspiration during these months! I'm so happy that your move went well (aka your sanity is still in tact). Best of luck in your new home!
Glad you made it safely! Can't wait to read about your new life adventure.
Tisha, Thanks for posting. I just KNEW a gila monster had eaten you! LOL Thank goodness you are not in the desert. I welcome being the biggest loser. I did not like living in the desert. WHEW!
Yeah!!! So happy to hear you made it safe and sound and you are finally settling in!! Looking forward to hearing all about your new home and city:) Hope you are all well!!
xoxo,
Lisa
Moving is so exhausting!! I'm glad you made it there and can't wait to hear about life by the Bay. :)
I am so glad you made it! Woohoo! Looking forward to hearing about the adventure :)
Wishing you endurance and the energy it takes to settle in!!

Thank you so much for "picking" me:)
I never win anything and I am thrilled!! I have been following your blog and I look forward to following your new journey!
Thanks again..
Congrats on your new move! San Francisco is so beautiful!! What a fun place to live!
Congrats on your move!! I have been out of touch with my computer as it was getting worked on for 5 days and I just got it back. S.F. is such a neat city- my brother and his family live in Berkeley and he works in S.F. It's so beautiful there and has so much character. Looking forward to some pics of your new home!!
Thinking of you guys.
Especially during all these changes and adjustments.
Love,
Jenn
Just checking back by. . . LOVE the new design!
What a cute new blogover!! Have you been on the cable car yet? The photographer in me is drooling over that as a photo op. :)
I have misplaced your email address. I got the Russian phrases from a digital scrapbooking kit. If you email me at michellerphoto@aol.com, I can send you more details.
Hope you are enjoying San Fran!!
Hugs,
Michelle
