A little this and that. . .

We had a lovely Easter celebration. The next morning, Chad flew to Charlotte, North Carolina for a meeting. Now he is headed to Las Vegas for a convention. I am flying out later today to join him. I want to say a BIG thank you to our dear friends Chris and Katie for watching our Sloan and Kensie. Thanks also to Auntie Jean for helping with the kids, as well, while we're gone. Chad and I haven't gotten away on our own for quite some time so it will be nice. Hopefully, there will be some time to mix business. Oh, of course there will; it's Vegas!!! Next week, I'm going to post a video I made of Sloan's adoption. I just finished it. It took me only about six years to get this done. Stay tuned. . .

I'm also going to attempt to be a more consistent blogger. I really enjoy blogging, especially the personal connections made with other bloggers. I haven't been blogging long and sporadically at best, but I have already had some wonderful interactions with some very lovely people. I also want to spend more time commenting because this helps cultivate further "blog friendships". I visit many blogs and always look forward to my favorites when there is a new post but I seem to always have to rush off before I can add a word of congratulations, support, encoragement, etc. . . Hopefully these intentions will not suffer a fate similar to New Year's resolutions.
