After almost six years, I've finally done it! I've made a short video of Sloan's adoption journey. I had been wanting to do this since we first came home, but somehow five plus years just flew by. Have I mentioned that I'm a serious procrastinator? Anyway, when I finally sat down to do it, I was quite surprised how easy it was. If only I knew then, what I know now. . .
This will probably look quite similar to other adoption videos you have seen: a photographic journey set to sentimental music. For us, it is the emotional, life-changing story of how God brought literal strangers living on opposite ends of the globe together and formed our family. I was looking at Sloan just yesterday and thought my heart would burst with love. Thank you Lord for this amazing child. Though I never delivered him through physical labor, our journey to Sloan was nonetheless an absolute labor of love!
So, What Am I Going To Do?

Tisha,
That is a beautiful video you made. Sloan is just as handsome today as he was six years ago. I LOVE his smile.
So, when do we get to see Kensie's (another 5 years)? LOL

Hi Tisha - Stacy Dinkel here. The office shared your blog address with me. I just watched your video celebrating Sloan, and my poor daughter wondered why I was crying at the end. Such a beautiful tribute to a great little guy!!! Your little family never ceases to bring a smile to my face..
Be well (& well done on the video!)
