Tomorrow we will celebrate the most holy day of the year. Two years ago at Sloan's preschool for Easter ,the kids dressed as "Good News" Bunnies (for some reason he wasn't afraid then). As the children paraded around the church lawn, their director would ask, "What's the good news?" The children then gleefully shouted, "Jesus is alive!" Simple. True. Powerful. The "good news" - our salvific faith- as shared from a four year-old bunny.
Happy Easter!

Our "Good News Bunny" two years ago. "Jesus is alive!"
And pictures from today. . .

Kensie finding a golden egg!

Who could be afraid of this face?

Apparently Sloan can! This is how he sat all throughout lunch, hiding his face from Kensie.

"Is she still there?"

How funny, Tisha!! Sloan looked adorable as a good new bunny two years ago and Kenzie as one today. We did the CC easter egg hunt today, too, although we certainly didn't have your beautiful weather. More like sunshine and 35 degrees. :)
Have a blessed Easter, Tisha!! We sure do have reason to celebrate!
Hi, I just wanted to FINALLY stop by and say "hi!" I have been following your blog since you were in China adding Kensie to you family.
These pictures of Kensie's face painted are sooooo cute.
I look forward to your posts. If you get a chance, stop by my blgo and say hi.
Blessing,
Mandi
How hysterical! I must agree with Sloan, though. Those "rabbit teeth" on Kensie's chin are a bit spooky! Your photos are awesome. Love how you capture the story with Sloan peeking below the menu at lunch.
That sweet bunny face made me laugh out loud! So precious! She will love these photos when she gets older!
My Emme has the same fear of any character. That's why we left her at home for our Disney trip last year. She would have needed therapy had she gone and been exposed to so many characters. She would have ridden Space Mountain a dozen times (if she were tall enough) but don't let Mickey come within 100 yards. I love Sloan hiding his face , so funny! Hope you had a wonderful Easter!
